Deep Dive Dinner - Just like me: What makes us create circles that are homogenous in our lives (race, gender, age, socioeconomic status)?

***NOTE: To create socioeconomic diversity at our table, this is a pay it forward dinner. Where 5 people will pay a ticket price that allows someone who couldn't afford to be at the table otherwise, participate.

12 strangers, 1 family style dinner, 1 conversation. Deep Dive Dinners are an opportunity to disconnect from the echo chamber of the online world and have a lively, multi faceted conversation with folks you may not ever meet. Deep Dive Dinners are an intimate evening that provide an antidote to the worlds lack of face-to-face connection. Without trying to solve or come to conclusions, Deep Dive Dinners offers a space where we come together to hear one another in our different world views over dinner.

FAQS

What is the food?
Every Deep Dive Dinner will have appetizers as everyone is arriving, and will feature a family style meal. There will be a good variety of options, and we will do our best to accommodate all dietary needs.

Can I see the menu?
This meal will feature a THAI feast.

Will there be alcohol?
This particular dinner is BYOB.

Can I record the dinner conversation?
No. The space is a closed space. We will ask you to put your cell phone in a big bowl upon entering the space. This is a symbol of everyone's presence and commitment to being in the Deep Dive.
