Listen Locally with Jimmy Adler Band
With 4 CDs to his credit, Pittsburgh-based blues guitarist and singer, Jimmy Adler has recorded many original songs that are steeped in the traditions of Chicago Blues, West-Coast Jazzy Jump, and other Americana traditions. His style is described as straight-ahead blues guitar - a blend of clean fat tones and raunchy slide guitar. Adlers songs are superbly built with frightening slide guitar effectiveness (Blues & Co. Magazine, France).
His latest CD, Grease Alley is a gritty, soulful recording featuring songs in a variety of styles ranging from swampy to swing. Blues Revue Magazine describes his style as Guaranteed excitement for fans of straight-ahead blues guitar. He brings forth a variety of flavors that will satisfy the blues lover and whet the appetite of those new to the genre.
