Molly Mahoney: "Mischief!"
Mischief! is a new cabaret experience starring Molly Mahoney with G. Scott Lacy at the piano. Combining classic standards and contemporary gems, these dynamic performers take the audience on an exciting musical ride weaving story and song.
Molly Mahoney's sublime singing, memorable humor, and heartfelt portrayals have charmed audiences and critics alike. A stylistically diverse performer, she sings opera, musical theater, and jazz with equal aplomb. A favorite of San Francisco audiences, Molly appears with companies like West Edge Opera, where she most performed the West Coast premiere of the genre-bending piece Mata Hari written by NYCs Matt Marks. Molly champions the Great American Songbook, singing with Big Bands since the age of ten. Her soulful, honest portrayals of familiar favorites and rare gems from this musical era can be heard on her debut album, Two for the Road. This spring, she and award-winning musical director G. Scott Lacy take her one woman show- Mischief! - to San Diego, NYC, London, Paris and Australia!
