Meet Day One Grantee Luncheon
One of the ways that WFRI advances gender equity in Rhode Island is through grant making. We'd love for you to meet some of the organizations we've supported through grants to hear about the important work they are doing. We plan to host semi-monthly luncheons with our grantees throughout 2019. These lunches will be free of charge but space is limited, so reserve your seat today!
This month, we will be learning about Day One and their Be Empowerment program, designed to help commercial sexual exploitation of children (SCEC) survivors heal. Participants will have a chance to tour the site, speak with program officers and learn about how Day One is making a difference for women in our community.
