Join us on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at 7:30 p.m. for the third concert in our Orange Coast Concerts 2008-2009 Season.
One of the premier Celtic violinists on the International music scene today, violinist Jamie Laval creates rapt audiences with his intensely passionate performances of traditional music of Scotland, Ireland, Brittany and Quebec, rendered with hints of classical refinement and ethnic music from around the world.
Laval is heralded as "One of North America's finest practitioners of traditional Scottish music" (San Jose Mercury News) and "The next Alasdair Fraser" (Press and Post). The Asheville Citizen-Times writes, "One of the hottest fiddlers out therethis act has been turning heads wherever it plays."
Laval won the 2002 U.S. National Scottish Championship, performed for Her Majesty the Queen, and his CD "Zephyr In The Confetti Factory" won Best World Traditional Song in the 2007 Independent Music Awards Vox Populi. Laval has also appears on Dave Matthews' "Some Devil" CD and numerous film scores.
Tickets $20 each when purchased in advance (plus any applicable fees) or $25 at the door. Children 12 and under are admitted free, and free childcare is available for ages 0 - 6 with a reservation. Parking is free.

All concerts begin at 7:30pm.
