Vanessa Amaro and Friends
Join us for an exhilarating night of opera music including Una voce poco fa by Rossini. Je veux vivre by Gounod, Glitter and be gay by Bernstein, and Non piu andrai Mozart. Some other favorites include If I were a rich man, La cidarem la mano Mozart, Due di gatti, and some cabaret music like Youkali by Kurt Weill. To end the evening, special guest pianist, Dennis Crow, Will play a medley from the musicals by Rodgers and Hammerstein.
Vanessa Amaro is a Soprano and graduated from the Conservatory of Mexico. She has competed and won several national singing competitions, including Carlo Morelli. She has sung in the most important places of the Mexican Republic, and has completed several master classes. She recently traveled to take a singing course in Kelowna, Canada, where she had the opportunity to record Disco with her favorite songs. Puerto Vallarta for me has been a blessing, says Vanessa. Juan Carlos Villalobos is a baritone. Hes 19 years old. He studied at the Conservatorio de Las Rosas. He will sing Nardo at the Opera La Finta Giardinera by Mozart, at the Conservatory. He has performed in some of the most famous places in the city, including the Ocampo Theater, Morelos Theater, Cologne Art Museum, and the Government Palace.
Pianist Alejandro Villareal began his musical studies at the Music Conservatory of Edo de Puebla, and continues later in High School. He attended the Diocesan of Sacred Music of Guadalajara and in the School Superior of Golden Piano Corona. He uses interesting techniques inherited from large musicians and concert players like Mtro. Clemente Quezada, Mtra. Angeles Mercado and the famous pianist Mtra. Leonor Montijo, all prominent Jaliscien artists. As Director he has led the baton of the Chamber Orchestra of Department of Art and Culture of Pto Vallarta. And the Orchestra of Chamber and Soloists Ensemble Maestoso.
