REMAIN IN LIGHT will be unashamedly internationalist & pro-European in outlook, inspired by the best in contemporary European culture. REMAIN IN LIGHT will be based at the newly refurbished Leith Theatre for the whole of 2019. A home in Leith? What's not to like.
****REMAIN IN LIGHT #1**** DJ SCRATCH AND SNIFF - DJ Scratch and Sniff is a creative improvisational live electronic/dance music project created by Serena Jost and Cassis Birgit Staudt in NYC in the early 2000s, currently masterminded by the producers/vocalists Marilyn Carino and Fiona Soe Paing. And yeah, they bake cookies while they make music. The sound of a live Scratch and Sniff performance morphs from Bhangra to Salsa to Disco to Hip Hop to House to Breakbeat to Reggaeton, sometimes together, and all in between, threaded with Electro sounds and crowned with the true musicality of actual live humans performing music on actual instruments, inspired by the evolving moment

Their poetry collections Tonguit (2015) and The Games (2018) were both shortlisted for the Edwin Morgan Poetry Award, and Tonguit for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection.
