ABOUT
The Alliance Awards are the only peer-judged art awards in South Lake Tahoe, created to recognize excellence in visual and performance arts as well as to recognize those who have contributed to and supported local art over the years.
Each Alliance Awards season (January through December) concludes with a tabulation that determines the nominees in each category. After the nominees are agreed upon by the TAA Board, all Tahoe Arts Alliance members are then able to vote for their favorites on a numerical scale to determine the winners in each category.
THE ANNUAL CEREMONY
The 1st Annual Alliance Awards ceremony will be held at South Tahoe High School's TADA building. The ceremony will be attended by prominent members of the South Lake arts community, including presenters, nominees, celebrities, luminaries, and major supporters and partners of the arts. Our list of performers and presenters continues to grow.
The formal ceremony is a yearly celebration of achievement and excellence, and is a way for our expansive community to converge for an evening of recognition, engagement, and entertainment.
THE 1ST ANNUAL ALLIANCE AWARDS CEREMONY April 13, 2019
The 1st Annual Alliance Awards will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2019, with a 6:00 pm curtain at South Tahoe High School in the TADA building. There will be a 5:00pm reception in the lobby beforehand. The event will be followed by an after party at The Lake House.
