A Safe Place A RESPONSE TO VIRGIN TERRITORY
Vincent Dance Theatres film installation explores the effect of sexual pressure on young women and girls. Following the screening of a scene from the film, Charlotte Vincent, Artistic Director of Vincent Dance Theatre, talks about the research and creative process of making Virgin Territory and how the company has used this and other pieces to introduce important issues to new audiences. She is joined by representatives of Oasis, the Medaille Trust, Not Buying It and other organisations concerned with womens safety, in an exploration of how we can prevent and eradicate sexual violence.
