Christie is an award-winning singer/songwriter whose gripping lyrics and catchy melodies are delivered by a striking, honey-whiskey voice. She has released five original records and performed for hundreds of audiences at diverse venues across the country, including Ryman Auditorium (the original Grand Ole Opry). Several of her songs are featured on compilations, and in movies and TV. Christies newest record, Big Picture, was engineered by Keith Greeninger and produced by Jimmy Norris. Recorded in the Santa Cruz mountains, the albums folk-rock vibe is reminiscent of the 70s Laurel Canyon era. Christie left her hometown of Los Angeles to attend college at UC Berkeley where she lived for 20 years (with a brief stint in Athens, GA). She now resides in beautiful Santa Cruz where shes blessed to play and record with some of the areas finest musicians who will be joining her tonight. Her shows are always energetic and engaging.
