Pacific Northwest Unitarian Universalist Music Festival
We are extremely excited to host Melanie DeMore to share her musical gifts with us. She was a favorite clinician at the National Association of Unitarian Universalist Music Ministries (formerly UUMN) Conference in Portland last summer and you can find her website online. Melanie will lead a workshop on Saturday, March 23 in Chapman Hall (Edmonds UU Congregation) from approximately 10:30 to 3:30 PM. We will learn our concert repertoire by ear on Saturday. We will also learn one choral arrangement, God is All There Is, by Mary Watkins. We will present our "Community Sing" concert at the United Methodist Church in Edmonds, 828 Caspers St., 2:00 3:00 pm (call is1:00 pm). To offset workshop/concert fees, travel accommodations, and venue rental etc. we are asking for $30. per singer. All UUs are welcome to join in even if they dont sing in the choir. Melanie will also be including the audience as part of this "Community Sing" experience.
