Stanley & Alice
Stanley & Alice - a comedy by Greensboro, NC, playwright Cindy Argiento. Starring David Piner as Stanley and Leigh Somerville as Alice. Cast includes Linda Minney, Sandy Scott, Carrie Barton, Ben Nowak, and Ted Burcaw. Directed by Marsha McNeely Hierl, stage managed by Nancy Bruce, and produced by Gill Thornton and Walter Boyd in conjunction with the Alamance Repertory Theatre Company and ARTC Theatre. Presented March 8, 9, 15, & 16 at 7:30 pm, and March 10 at 3:00 pm at ARTC Theatre, 110 W 7th Street, Winston-Salem, NC.
Stanley is set in his ways, a "Felix Unger" type of guy. Alice is smart and sarcastic, but totally adores her husband of 34 years. Join Stanley and Alice as they navigate a day spent shopping, dining out, visiting the doctor, and enjoying a relaxing evening at home. Sounds typical, doesn't it? But Stanley and Alice live anything BUT a typical life. This funny comedy lasts approximately 90 minutes with one intermission.
