Women Screaming
Women Screaming reimagines the women of Greek Tragedy (Medea, Cassandra, Antigone, and Helen of Troy) within the context of our modern equivalent to melodrama: Reality Television. If you love watching the original influences for strong and complex female characters behave like actual parodies of themselves, this is the show for you! Join us in reviving these ancient relics just to pit them against each other in an overdramatized fight to the death. We didn't come here to make friends ;)
The Tom Collective is a new theatre company dedicated to reclaiming womxn's history by putting womxn and queer people in power on the stage, behind the scenes, on the page, and in every aspect of theatre. Women Screaming is our first full-length production and is devised, performed, directed, designed, and produced entirely by womxn and queer individuals!
