Homebrewing for Beginners

The class is on a Saturday, beginning at 1 PM. Attendees will learn the critical part of boiling, adding hops, chilling, sanitizing, and pitching yeast. The class is hands-on!

Students take home a detailed 2-page outline, and will be confident to begin brewing at home.

The class is free to members of our Joy of Brewing Club.
For non-members, the cost of the 3-Hour class is $30 and entitles students to a $10 discount on equipment purchase at the end of the class (normally $80). If you plan to purchase equipment, and want to take the class brew home for fermenting, let us know in advance!

The instructor has experience in a commercial brewery as well as homebrewing, is a beer judge, and owner/manager of a homebrew supply shop. She has taught this class over forty times, in the past six years--and you will learn some pro-tips!

This class is limited to twelve people; Members have preference!
