Finding place in the Arctic Refuge : Andy Selters & Brennan Lagasse
A two part introspective presentation by two legendary mountaineers who have both been drawn to the Arctic Refuge. Come learn of the many experiences alongside their striking photography of people and place in the Arctic Refuge. They will share the interconnectedness of being in unique landscapes, where Wilderness crosses all boundaries. Whether you go to the Arctic Refuge or not, you can engage in this topic, see it, and feel it through this deeply meaningful photo-journey. The northernmost Alaska landscape has remained largely unchanged for thousands of years. Some call it Americas Serengeti, others the last great wilderness. This crown jewel of the National Wildlife Refuge System is larger than most states at 19.6 million acres, and while threatened, remains as inspiring as any location across the world.
