JBJ Trio featuring Vanisha Gould
California native Vanisha Gould came to New York in 2015 and is quickly making a name for herself on the Jazz scene. With a voice rooted in Jazz and Blues, she tells stories of love and love lost. Inspired by Billie Holiday, Nina Simone and Nat King Cole, Vanisha has cultivated a voice of her own.
JBJ Trio is a Jazz Trio based in New York but born in Boston, and it's formed by pianist Jimin Park (Korea), bassist Bruce Kang (Korea) and drummer Juan Chiavassa (Argentina), in 2016. The trio has a variety of styles of Jazz repertoires such as Jazz standards and original compositions. They recorded their debut album JBJ Piano Trio (which is available in all music platforms) in late 2016 and they are currently developing in the New York music scene.
