Welcoming Aphrodite: a magical exploration of the Love Goddess
Its Beltane season and the earth is showing us what to do: burst forth, bud, pollinate, lay on the earth in the warming night. What better time to step forward and meet the Goddess Aphrodite? She is a Goddess of love and sacred sexuality born from the stormy ocean, golden apple in her hand. When I say she is Aphrodite, know that the Goddess of love has many faces and many names all over the world, and this is only one iteration. Join us to explore her energy through lecture, altar building, song, flower essences, and magical exercise. This class will be in magical, sacred space and more focused on ritual then lecture. It is a great class for intermediary students who have some experience, but everyone one is welcome. (Due to this please note that the doors will be locked a few minutes after class starts, go get here early).
*When we say Goddess, we mean she is God herself, the cliterophalic Deity (as our ancestor Victor Anderson said) and her gender is complex, inclusive, and vast. All people are very welcome in this class!
