Friends of the Boston Harbor Islands (FBHI) are hosting a free public cruise on Sunday, May 5, 2019 to celebrate their 40th anniversary of public service on land, sea and the islands. The boat will depart from Boston Harbor Cruises, Long Wharf, Boston at 2:00p.m. returning to the dock at 5:00p.m. Boarding begins at 1:15.
All are welcome: current and former Friends members and Park staff; Partnership, Advisory Council and agency personnel, island visitors. This is a cruise for those of us who have been visiting the islands for years and for those who might be visiting the first time. RSVP for the(free) boat ride.
Donations will be accepted for the Friends 40th anniversary legacy project to restore the Lovells Island oil house. Donations will be matched 2:1 by the Department of Conservation and Recreation Partnership Matching Funds Program.

There will be a cash bar and galley with snacks open during the cruise. Guests are responsible for their own refreshments. FBHI will provide complimentary birthday cake baked by Montilio's. Music by the Gloucester Hornpipe and Clog Society.

As cancellations come in seats become available. Reserve in the registration box below. There will be standby seats on the day of the trip from the "no show" guests.
