An Evening With Jeff Scott & Band...And Very Special Guest Skip Pruitt

Returning to Rock On Third in downtown Royal Oak, Jeff Scott & Band will be joined by their friend and musical brother, saxophonist Skip Pruitt, to perform songs from Jeff's newest album, "Nola To New York," along with selections from his Detroit Music Award-nominated projects, "The Long Way Home" and "Begin Again," and select covers. Scott, Pruitt and lead guitarist/vocalist Duane Allen Harlick were the core team behind The Big Picture, winners of the Marlboro National Music Contest in 1990 and subsequent festival headliners and opening act for artists such as Hall & Oates, Smokey Robinson, Richard Marx and more. Pruitt moved on from The Big Picture to perform with Luther Vandross, Anita Baker, The Winans and other well-known R&B and soul/jazz artists in the subsequent years. There is a unique musical chemistry when Jeff, Skip and Duane perform together. We hope you'll join us to experience it on this special date.
