Broadway Chamber Players - Feb 4th - Back to Baroque
The concert begins with the intimate yet bold Sonata No. 2 in A Major by J.S. Bach featuring My Fair Lady violinist Bryan Hernandez-Luch and New York Philharmonic harpsichordist, Paolo Bordignon. Following the Bach, BCP is thrilled to welcome for the first time oboists Alexandra Knoll, Erin Gustafson, and BCP veteran bassoonist Alden Banta, as they perform Zelenka's acrobatic Trio Sonata no. 5. Concluding the concert all players will combine and perform J.S.Bach's triumphant Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 featuring Dan Urness on trumpet, and flutist Keith Bonner.
