Diane is from Boston, and has been to Kurdistan a number of times, studied their culture, and made friends with the people. She is the first to publish a book in English about the Kurds, and the stories they have to tell. Cathryn has been to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, and tells
Turkmenistan stories from their most famous bard, Dede Korkut.
