State of Edgewater 2019
Join us on Thursday, June 6 from 8am-10am for three engaging panel discussions on topics affecting Edgewater. Breakfast will be available from 7:15am - 8:00am. In addition, we will present the Edgewater Innovator Award to to this year's recipient.
Standing Networking Breakfast will take place from 7:15am - 8:00am.
Panel 1 - Infrastructure: How the CTA Red Line Modernization Project will Affect You SUMMARY: Small business owners and public transport stakeholders affected by public transportation modernization upgrades will discuss how Edgewater can prepare for the CTA Red Line project based on their own real-world experience.
Panel 2 - Urban Development: What is the future of Edgewater? SUMMARY: Edgewater is currently undergoing new urban development projects with potential long standing changes to its identity. Experts and stakeholders in our community will give their insights as to how these projects will mold the Edgewater of tomorrow.
Panel 3 - Policy: How policy decisions now will affect Edgewater in the future SUMMARY: Hear from the our elected officials about their work on behalf of the businesses and residents of Edgewater. Confirmed speakers: Alderman Harry Osterman and Representative Greg Harris.
