SVP Nunsense

Those crazy nuns from Hoboken need money fast so its time for an emergency fund-raiser. The cause? Coming up with the cash to bury the four sisters currently in their freezer who died from bad soup at the convent. Their solution is a variety show full of singing, dancing and jokes as we watch these five earnest and loveable nuns strut their stuff on the stage. Characters include one nun who cant remember her name (among other things), a frustrated star unhappily relegated to an understudy role and a combination ballerina and nun. This show-within-a-show has interactive elements connecting with the audience and some wonderful poignant moments as well. The historic Stoughton Village Players theater is a perfect intimate venue for this fun production as we watch our intrepid underdogs do their best in well-meaning but often over-the-top ways.
