East Bay Eats, formerly Sunday Suppers, brings community together to raise money for different non-profit organizations working in the East Bay. Every other month, we'll be hosting a family-style, community dinner at some of the area's most beloved restaurants.
To date, our work has raised over $275K for a variety of incredible organizations. We did not want to let this successful event series come to an end; East Bay Eats is a new incarnation of these fundraising dinners, unaffiliated with Charlie Hallowell's restaurant group.
Join us May 19th at Cosecha, to support the incredible work of Oakland International High School, an Oakland public school that serves 100% newly-arrived immigrant students from over thirty countries. Our mission is to enable newly-arrived immigrant students to develop the academic, linguistic, and cultural skills necessary for success in high school, college, and beyond.
Representatives from OIHS will share information about their work, and we will be raising additional funds at the event for the organization. A signature cocktail may be ordered throughout the night at the cash bar - 100% of the proceeds will also be donated to the organization.
Tickets cost $60-100 per person, wine included, for a multicourse, prix-fixe meal.
