Of Good Nature with The Elovaters
Charlotte NC alt-rockers, Of Good Nature, have built a strong start to 2018 with quick attention to their newly released music along with a steady wave of tour dates. Their fusion-friendly approach and openness to explore a range of styles has lead to a highly accessible sound which has recently spread like wildfire across festivals, cruises, blogs, and radio stations. Take Me Anywhere has been featured on Sirius XMs The Pulse, while Feels Right and Be The Day are streamed on a handful of popular Spotify playlists including Happy Songs For The Office, Easy Like Sunday Morning, and Reggae Summer Beach.
The bands high-energy live show has caught on across the United States. OGN was invited for a second appearance aboard Trains Sail Across The Sun Cruise and has supported headliners Sublime with Rome, Slightly Stoopid, Dirty Heads, George Clinton, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Gym Class Heroes, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Blues Traveler, Common Kings, Steel Pulse, and many more. Theyve also received recognition for their past studio work, seeing their debut album, Just Add Water, won Indie-Villes Reggae Album of the Year and sophomore album Life Worth Livin, debuted at #5 on iTunes Reggae Albums Charts.

The Elovaters sophomore album DEFY GRAVITY, dropped October 26, 2018, on Rootfire Cooperative and debuted at #1 in the iTunes Reggae chart. Produced by Danny Kalb (Beck, Ben Harper, Willie Nelson, The Movement) and critically acclaimed, Defy Gravity is simply on another levelintricate and nuanced, full of thought-provoking surprises. The album marks yet another milestone in the bands incredible rise from the south shore of Boston. Other highlights from 2018 include signing with Madison House agency in September, performing at Levitate Music Festival, Sugarloaf Reggae Festival, and direct support dates for The English Beat, and Badfish.
The Elovaters are Jackson Wetherbee (lead vocal, rhythm guitar), John Alves (lead guitar), Nick Asta (drums), Matt Link (bass), Derrick Cabral (percussion), and Greg Nectow (keys). Their debut album, THE CORNERSTONE, was recorded by Mike Caplan at the legendary Lion and Fox Studios in Washington D.C. in 2017. It reached #2 on the iTunes reggae chart and #9 on the Billboard Reggae Chart, and the band has been touring heavily in support of the album ever since, opening for the likes of Ziggy Marley, Stick Figure, The Movement, Easy Star Allstars, John Browns Body, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad and more.
