FEATURED FILM:
BELLE AND SEBASTIAN Directed by Nicolas Vanier | PTFF 2014 | France | 104 min
Based on the beloved novel by Cécile Aubry. September 1943, young Sebastian's life high in the French Alps is transformed by both by the heartbreaking politics all around him and the unexpected arrival of a dog like none other. This is an old fashioned film in every way. The politics of the French resistance to the Nazis might be complicated, but the bond between Belle & Sebastian is impossible to resist.
