We Are Here: Creating Better Library Services for Immigrant Youth and Families
Join us for a day of inspiration, exploration, networking, and partnership-building, all related to the subject of immigration, with the goal of developing as a profession to better serve immigrant children and families.
Guests include authors, René Colato Laínez , Dr. Francisco Jiménez, Aida Salazar, and Dr. Alberto Ledesma, and representatives from the International Rescue Committee, the East Bay Agency for Children, Centro Legal, California Humanities, and REFORMA's Children in Crisis Project. Also Eth-Noh-Tec, Reverend Deborah Lee, and the Alphabet Rockers. Book sales and signing.
