Presented as part of BIMA's Momentum Festival in collaboration with Battle Point Astronomical Association
A cinematic reverie on the crazy beauty of the night sky, as experiences in the Atacama Desert in Chile. Director Alison McAlpines film moves between spirituality and science, creating a love poem for the night sky. Cielo transports the viewer to a space, quiet and calm, within which we can ponder the infinite and the unknown. Q&A to follow with Kristin Tollefson, Education Director.
