JULIET FISCHER-SCHULEIN in MY MIDLIFE CABARET
My Midlife Cabaret is about a Broadway performer (Juliet) who goes from the Big Apple to the Stepford Wife like suburbs of Orange County. It addresses all the highs of being a Rockette and a performer on Broadway, to losing herself in motherhood and mom groups. It's emotional range varies from all fun and games to self loss and depression in a spectacular positive and productive way.
Juliet began her professional career at the age of 16 doing summer stock musicals at San Diego's Starlight Theater. There she got her first taste of what it was like to sing and dance in front of thousands of people. While Ballet was her first love, she enjoyed how musical theater let you explore all aspects of performing. Although it took her years to get good at it, singing was something she longed to do! She loved how much passion you can pour into a song. She delved deeper into acting while attending San Diego's School of Performing Arts and found that she had a natural ability and began further honing her acting skills in College. She was accepted into UCLA's theater program. It was only after graduating from UCLA that she decided to move to New York to pursue a career in Musical Theater.
One month after arriving in New York she was hired to join the world famous chorus line of Rockettes at Radio City Music Hall. and, as fate had it, her tenure there lasted four consecutive seasons. However, her ultimate dream was to perform on Broadway which transpired at age 26 when she was cast in the musical On The Town, followed by A Christmas Carol and Crazy for You broadcast by PBS; the national tour of Chicago, and the first national tour of Kiss Me Kate. She migrated to Los Angeles (after 13 months on the road with Kiss Me Kate) to pursue Film and Television roles, marry and begin a family.
