East Bay Eats, formerly Sunday Suppers, brings community together to raise money for different non-profit organizations working in the East Bay. Every other month, we'll be hosting a family-style, community dinner at some of the area's most beloved restaurants. Join us to Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is!
To date, our work has raised over $275K for a variety of incredible organizations. We did not want to let this successful event series come to an end; East Bay Eats is a new incarnation of these fundraising dinners, unaffiliated with Charlie Hallowell's restaurant group.
Join us March 17th at Benchmark Pizzeria - Oakland, to support the incredible work of Oakland Communities United for Equity and Justice (OCUEJ), which supports community wellness in Oakland and the surrounding communities through collaborative programming that promotes healing, self-determination, and restorative economics in communities left out of the conversation on resiliency. OCUEJ supports and weaves together the historic work of three primary projects: Phat Beets Produce, the Self Help Hunger Program, and the North Oakland Restorative Justice Council.
Representatives from OCUEJ will share information about their work, and we will be raising additional funds at the event for the organization. A signature cocktail may be ordered throughout the night at the cash bar - 100% of the proceeds will also be donated to the organization.
Tickets cost $60-100 per person, wine included, for a multicourse, prix-fixe meal.
