Hollywood Heritage & The Hollywood Foreign Press Association Present: Afternoon @ the Barn - The Four Musketeers: Douglas Fairbanks and the Founding of United Artists
Join us for a special Afternoon @ the Barn on Sunday, February 10th at 2:00PM. We will be celebrating the centennial of the founding of United Artists with the book launch of "Douglas Fairbanks--the Fourth Musketeer". Kelley Smoot, who expanded and revised her stepmother's biography of Douglas Fairbanks, will be our guest for the event.
Leticia Fairbanks originally published the biography of her famous uncle in the 1950s, and the new addition has now been lavishly illustrated with photographs.
In addition to a book signing, there will also be a screening of rare archival clips from the collections of Karl Theide and Stan Taffel relating to the founders of United Artists.
Scott Lasky of the Famous Players Orchestra will be accompanying the films.
This promises to be an unforgettable afternoon at the Barn!
