True story: on December 16, 1825 Theodore Molt became the sole Canadian to meet Ludwig van Beethoven. But what could have happened between the two men? After Molt's florid greeting in one of Beethovens notebooks, the subsequent four pages were ripped out and destroyed!
Betrayal? Competition? Scandal? Or just old fashioned ego and pride?
With music, song, drama, history and informed speculation, The Missing Pages investigates.
Guests are invited to bring along something to drink. We will provide glasses. All proceeds from the door go to the musicians. Admission is limited to thirty people, and tickets MUST be purchased in advance.
Jazz in the Kitchen is in a private home in the beaches area of Toronto. Ample free street parking. We're short walk up from the Queen East #501 Glen Manor stop, or a quick #64 bus south from Main Stn to Williamson Road.
