When Kate decides to leave Paris to care for her father, she also decides its time to share her authentic self with the world. Enter Sophie. What follows is an identity adventure with a French twist, filled with philosophie de la vie, humor, and heart.

I AM SOPHIE is an exploration of identity in which YOU become the confidante to Sophie Carter, formerly known as Kate Carter. Sophie is a changed woman returning to the United States after living in France. She comes home to take care of her sick father and when she arrives, her loved ones meet Sophie for the first time. What follows is an existential adventure. With humor and an aching heart, Sophie has us all wondering - Am I who I think I am?

After the L.A Premiere at THE PICO in the summer of 2018, "I am Sophie" went on to perform an almost sold-out 10 week run at the Pacific Resident Theatre in Venice, and now will return to its home at THE PICO to finish it's Los Angeles run.
