MUCC vs MUCC vs MUCC was the concept of MUCC's 15th anniversary live where they held a very special show for their fans by splitting a five hour concert into three sections: Shisei (2002 2007), Misshitsu (1997 2002), and Kodou (2007 2012) and compiled a set-list based on each of the three eras.
Band Description:
TATSURO (vocals), MIYA (guitar), YUKKE (bass) and SATOCHI (drums) form MUCC (muku), a heavy metal band hailing from Ibaraki Prefecture. Named after a character from a Japanese children's TV show, the band is also known by the nickname 69 since "six nine" can be pronounced "muku" in Japanese. Since forming in 1997, MUCC has stood out from the pack with their flexible approach to songwriting by incorporating nu-metal, industrial, technical thrash and even disco elements into their music.
In August 2005, MUCC made their European debut with a few stops in France and Germany, including a performance at the famous Wacken Open Air Festival. In August 2006, they made their United States debut at the anime convention Otakon in Baltimore. They returned to the US again in 2007 to perform at the Jrock Revolution Festival. In 2008, MUCC also played at the hide Memorial Summit along with X JAPAN, LUNA SEA and DIR EN GREY.
