Award-winning singer/songwriter, Theresa Sareo, makes her triumphant return to Pangea for a special Valentine's Celebration on February 15th at 7PM.
After her dazzling headlining debut, Theresa Sareo is thrilled to be returning to Pangea; one of NY's most popular and loveliest cabaret rooms in the heart of the musically historic East Village. She is joined by an uber-talented line-up of musicians: Michael Holland on acoustic guitar/piano and vocals, Matt Scharfglass on bass and Don Kelly on percussion. Also joining Theresa are her very special guests; Doreen Montalvo Mann (from the hit Broadway show "Get On Your Feet"), Tracy Stark (singer/songwriter/director/pianist), legendary pianist and friend, Sally Treibel and long-time friend/collaborator, Clare Cooper. Singer/songwriter/motivational performer, Theresa Sareo, has been a staple on NY's music scene for over two decades. After surviving a horrible accident which claimed her entire right leg, she has since become a popular inspirational singer/writer/advocate throughout the entertainment, educational, medical, military, political and corporate communities. She was a keynote speaker on healthcare issues with NY Senators, wrote and performed for Former Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton, became the first civilian to sing the National Anthem at Walter Reed Army Hospital in DC and received the "2012 Friends of the United Nations Human Rights Award for Empowering the Disabled" in NYC.
