Come celebrate the arrival of Summer with an amazing concert of French music for wind quintet. Sit back, relax and imagine strolling down the Champs-Élysées or basking in the gardens at Versailles as you are delighted by this French musical treat.
This concert celebrates the diverse and colourful music by French composers such as Darius Milhaud, Jean-Michel Damase, Henri Tomasi and more.
Refreshments will be served following the concert.
Ventos was born out of each of our member's individual passion to share their artistry and inspire others while making great music as a group. Ventos (which means "Wind" in Portuguese) aspires to engage audiences young and old with exciting performances of the classic wind quintet repertoire, transcriptions for wind quintet and commissioning new works for our genre.
