I Am Within Myself: Immigration Stories (Late Show)

In November and December of 2018, 7th grade students on the Sebago team at Saco Middle School learned about immigration in America. During this time they did a great deal of research but also teamed up with a local immigrant who they interviewed about their experiences. These interviews turned into short documentaries and several of those documentaries will be screened.

Additionally, there will be a panel discussion with some of the subjects of documentaries and the student filmmakers. A short chapbook collection of poems written by the students about immigration will be available at the event as well.

This event is open to the public and space is limited. There are also two shows (an early one at 5 pm and a late one at 7 pm), so please make sure you purchase tickets for the proper showing. Any questions please email Andrew Fersch at thepennprogram@gmail.com.
