Mill Valley Philharmonic Winter 2019 Concerts
Mill Valley Philharmonic continues its 2018-2019 season, featuring music by Rossini, Beethoven & Tchaikovsky on March 13,15 & 16, 2019. The concerts will be led by Guest Conductor Dana Sadava, one of three conductors who are candidates for the permanent position of Artistic Director. Joining Sadava and MVP will be pianist James Stopher. A pre-concert talk by Maestra Sadava will be presented beginning at 7:15 PM.
The program for the concert set is:
Gioachino Rossini - Overture to "The Barber of Seville" Ludwig van Beethoven - Concerto for Piano in Eb, Op. 73, Mvt I Piotr Illyich Tchaikovsky - Symphony No. 5 in E Minor, Op. 64
Concerts will be presented at the Mt. Tamalpais United Methodist Church, 410 Sycamore Avenue, Mill Valley, CA 94941.
While the concerts are free of admission, we strongly recommend that patrons make a reservation. Suggested donation: $20
