Memorymapping Workshop for Adults with Darlene Charneco
Sunday, March 10 | 3-4:30 PM | $20 ($15 for Friends of SAC)
Join TAKEOVER! artist Darlene Charneco who will host a special memorymapping session for adults at SAC.
Inspired by her ongoing series The Self-Assembling MemoryPalace, artist Darlene Charneco has been exploring the navigation and accumulation of personal and collective memory and sharing her love for memorymapping through workshops to different groups and ages. We will each create a personal 'memorymap' of a favorite familiar space using paper collage and mixed-media. All materials provided-just bring yourself!
Space is limited. Advance reservations recommended.
Darlene Charneco is a contemporary Latin-American artist whose own mixed-media mapping series looks at people, networks, homes, and communities as part of a larger organisms growth stage.
