Phoenix Dance Theatre: ReFINED 2019 - Woolacombe
A programme of four short works including Windrush: A lively celebration, Windrush will span the spirit, history and heritage of British Caribbean culture, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the arrival of the SS Empire to the UK.
Since the companys small beginnings in 1981, Phoenix has grown to be a key Northern forerunner in contemporary dance, and for three and a half decades has performed across the globe educating and inspiring audience through the medium of dance.
This is a show to make you re-think what contemporary dance is all about. The Culture Vulture
