Communications freelancers face many emotional and physical challenges, including everything from anxiety and burnout to repetitive strain injuries and more. We may not have HR departments and company health plans, but we don't have to face these challenges on our own. Come and explore techniques and resources for staying happy, healthy, and productive.

SPEAKERS
MATTHEW ELDRIDGE is a registered social worker, having completed his Master of Social Work degree in 2013. Prior to joining the Artists' Health Centre, he held social work positions at Credit Valley Hospital, OakMed Family Health Team, Belleville and Quinte West Community Health Centre, and Belleville General Hospital.
Matt has a background as a competitive trampolinist/gymnast, and prior to becoming a social worker, he performed as an acrobat in the Cirque du Soleil production of Dralion.
Matt's professional experience includes co-ordination, program development, and individual/group psychotherapy. The Artists' Health Centre is a perfect fusion of two of his passions: the arts and healthcare. He is honoured to be a part of a team that works to help keep artists healthy.
LORNE OPLER, M.Ed., is a Professor of Fitness and Health Promotion at Humber College and Durham College and holds a Master's Degree in Health Education and Health Promotion from the University of Texas at Austin. A fitness writer and owner of his own personal training business, he is passionate about promoting exercise for all ages and abilities.
