Pulse Dance Company in Concert 2019
Pulse Dance Company presents gripping new work CARAVAN by Anchorage choreographer Stephanie Wonchala. CARAVAN immerses audiences in a topsy turvy world that's part macabre carnival, part comedic parade, and soberingly relevant. In a world where any fool can be king, dancers invite audiences into a mad house of haunting missed connections and vaudevillian splendor. Prepare to experience a breadth of expressive possibilities as the company's athletic dancers dive headfirst into a roiling, highly physical, and delightfully quirky escapade.
The first act will consist of new works and guest performances, including choreography set by Studio 49's Mikal Preston on the dancers of Pulse Dance Co, new work set by Pulse's Stephanie Wonchala on the dancers of Studio 49, and a guest performance by Momentum Dance Collective.
THREE SHOWS ONLY: Friday, March 1 at 7:30pm Saturday, March 2 at 7:30pm Sunday, March 3, 4:30pm matinee
CARAVAN may not be suitable for children under 6. Learn more about the company at www.PulseDanceCompany.org
