Jazz In The Kitchen

Please join us for the 50th Jazz In The Kitchen!

On Saturday January 19 at 7:30pm we will feature one of Canada's best jazz trios: Mark Eisenman, Steve Wallace and Mark Micklethwaite. Mark, Steve and Mark are, simply, craftsmen in every sense of the word. You will feel like you're part of the group, sharing the recording studio space at a private home in the Beaches. Mark Eisenman will be playing a beautiful Steinway B grand piano.

This concert will feature Brian O'Kane, (https://creativearts.humber.ca/faculty/brian-okane.html), one of Toronto's finest trumpet players. Brian has played just about everywhere, with just about everyone, and is a member of the Humber College music faculty.

Brian's bringing a couple of trumpet jazz duets that he has arranged. We are intrigued!

All of the Jazz In The Kitchen events sell out fast.

Guests are invited to bring along something to drink. We will provide glasses. All proceeds from the door go to the musicians. Admission is limited to thirty people, and tickets must be purchased in advance.

We're in the beaches area of Toronto. Ample free street parking. A short walk up from the Queen East #501 Maclean Ave stop, or a quick #64 bus south from Main Stn to Williamson Road.

The door opens at 7:00 pm, and the music starts at 7:30. Please be on time. We are sure you will enjoy the 50th Jazz In The Kitchen.
