Past Curfew: A Festival of One-Acts
The Young American's Theatre Company could not be more excited to be resurrecting its annual festival of one acts. Past Curfew will be composed of three shows each from a different genre, and each with its own message:
Betrayed by Everyone by Kenneth Lonergan, directed by Connor Davis, explores the relationship between two teens struggling with drug use, difficult home lives, and their feelings towards each other. Ethan Coen's Waiting, directed by Hallie Barker and Callie Harlow, is a comedy about the recently deceased Nelson's ever increasing time in purgatory. P 4-H Club by Sam Shepard, directed by Anika Grevstad and Melissa Carter, verges on performance art as three young men, rejected by society, struggle to find their way out of the discard pile.
