MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents: GABRIELLE NICOLE in "DARK SIDE OF THE CABARET"
Come for a musical exploration of the subconscious and our darker sides through the works of Led Zeppelin, Cream, and other classic rock gurus... and of course a few Broadway favorites, too! Delightfully comedic soprano Gabrielle Nicole is joined by Jeff Caldwell on keys and additional vocals from Michaela Morris and Lauren Ambielli.
ABOUT GABRIELLE NICOLE
Gabrielle Nicole has been singing for as long as she can remember. She currently lives and performs in Seattle and feels grateful to have found the cabaret community here. She has performed in many genres including musical theatre, classical, rock/pop, and a cappella, and is so grateful for her friends and family who have supported her over all these years. She is currently a soprano in Joyful!Noise choir, and performs cabaret any chance she can get. You can follow what she's up to on Instagram @theGabbaret (that's with two bs!).
MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents: THE FEMME FATALES in "A TOUCH OF THE FEMME"
Let The Femme Fatales lead you on a journey of multifaceted feminine power. With songs ranging from silly to sensual, you will find yourself laughing, blushing, singing along, and unable to forget. Every evening could use a Touch of the Femme...
ABOUT THE FEMME FATALES
Sultry, sassy, and deliciously vintage, The Femme Fatales began when Annastasia Workman brought together three distinct and unique multi-instrumentalist forces of nature to play her music for a production of The Maltese Falcon. Consisting of Sari Breznau, Kate Olson, and Olivia D. Hamilton, The Femme Fatales soon took on a life of their own, reveling in their delicious blend of instrumentation, vocal harmonies, and storytelling. They have enjoyed playing a wide variety of gigs and are looking forward to making Seattle a little more Fatale one song at a time.
MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents: HELENE SMART in "SOMETHING WITH A TUNE"
Taking advantage of cabaret's unlimited possibilities, Helene Smart draws on songs from a wide range of styles to create an eclectic selection of stories told through compelling music and carefully crafted lyrics. With music director Chris DiStefano.
ABOUT HELENE SMART
Helene continues to explore the art of cabaret with its opportunities for storytelling through melody and lyrics creatively combined. The collaboration between the singer and musicians brings delight. During the past year, in addition to her cabaret appearances, Helene has led her own seven-piece jazz band, appearing at The Treehouse Cafe on Bainbridge Island.
MARCH IS CABARET MONTH Presents: JOHN ENGERMAN & PHIL SHALLAT in "DOMINANT GENES"
From the creators of last year's "You Are The Wind Inside My Bag" come more compelling, offbeat, original musical theatre tunes, in collaboration and solo, with an excursion into the personal. With Lance Lu on drums.
ABOUT JOHN ENGERMAN & PHIL SHALLAT
From "Ronnie Bwana - Jungle Guide" in the '70s through The Fabulous Sateens in the '80s to their new show "Italy On the Rocks", Phil and John have collaborated on dozens of songs for musical theatre and cabaret productions. Phil also performed as front man/vocalist with The New Deal Rhythm Band, and John has played for many, many March Is Cabaret Month acts, including Arnaldo! Dragchanteuse, The Sirens of Swing, Miz Lawanda Dupree & Angie Louise, Joanne Klein, Carolyn Magoon, and his own adult Mother Goose show, "Gaggle".
