Constellation Half-Remembered - PATINA
Spread throughout multiple venues during June and July 2013, Constellation Half-Remembered is an interconnected performance series blending movement, sound, visual art, light and video installation to map how our past creates our present, as well as how our present rewrites our past, through the intimate lens of our own accumulated memories.
Ticketed venues include Open Flight Studio ("Patina") and Parallel Public Works. Core collaborators include Amy Denio and Beth Fleenor (composers), Amiya Brown (light design and technical direction), Kathryn Padberg (video), Julia Hensley (visual artist) and a cast of 8 amazing dancers.
Inspired by each location, informed by what has come before and will follow after, each performance will be both recognizable and unique, like a memory retold differently each time.
Tickets: $12-$18 sliding scale. All proceeds go towards paying the artists.
