Garnet Rogers is a Canadian folk musician, singer, songwriter and composer. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario in May, 1955 but has roots in Nova Scotia. He began his professional career working with his brother, folk musician Stan Rogers, and arranging Stan's music, and has continued his solo career since Stan's death.
With his smooth, dark baritone (Washington Post) his incredible range, and thoughtful, dramatic phrasing, Garnet is widely considered by fans and critics alike to be one of the finest singers anywhere. His music, like the man himself, is literate, passionate, highly sensitive, and deeply purposeful.
