A Valentine's and New CD Celebration with Aaron Larget-Caplan
A GUITAR VALENTINE'S AND NEW CD CELEBRATION!

Boston-based guitar virtuoso Aaron Larget-Caplan returns to the NW coast for a concerts celebrating romantic music for the season and his latest album John. Cage. Guitar.

On Thursday, February 14, at 7pm, Aaron will perform Dances, Serenades & Meditations in the beautiful acoustics of Grace Episcopal Church, 1545 Franklin, Astoria, OR.

Fresh from concert performances in Taiwan and Alabama, Aaron has designed a lush Valentines Day program. It includes romantic serenades and dances by Franz Schubert, Spanish composers Isaac Albéniz, Francisco Tarrega, Pascual Marquina, and Cuban composer Leo Brouwer, alongside music of J.S. Bach and the American icon, John Cage. The latter is the focus of Aarons latest collaboration with the UK label Stone Records for the November 2018 release of John. Cage. Guitar.

For those unsure of classical music or the revolutionary John Cage, have no fear, as Aaron is a musical storyteller and guides audiences on the musical journey. Aaron continues to break new ground as an exciting and innovative guitarist performing many of his own arrangements, and recording work never before recorded. He looks forward to returning to the NW coast for these concerts.

NEUGUITARS of Italy praised Aarons latest CD as an excellent introduction to those who want to approach [Cage] for the first time. Highly recommended. Music Web International says, This disc knows no fear in its blend of delicacy, complexity and amiable simplicity.

Tickets for the Astoria concert are $20 for adults and $10 for those under 18. Attendees are encouraged to reserve their seats online via Brown Paper Tickets (https://alcguitar.bpt.me) or purchase at the door.
