If you've ever looked up at the stars overhead and wondered what else is up there, the Robert Ferguson Observatory's "Whats Up?" program is designed for you!
The program will feature a talk, suitable for all ages, on objects in our local galaxy, the Milky Way, and very deep space objects beyond. The observatory's three large telescopes--an 8" refractor, a 40" reflector, and a 20" astrophotography system--will be available for you to see all of the wonderful and mesmerizing objects so far from us.
You'll get plenty of time at the telescope eyepieces...and as always, the observatory will be staffed by knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers eager to show you the night sights, and answer any questions you may have.
The program starts promptly at 7PM. Tickets are limited to 40 guests; $25.00 per adult and $20.00 for seniors (62+) and youth under 18.
RFO is operated by the Valley of the Moon Observatory Association, a 501(3)(c) nonprofit organization, and all of the proceeds will go towards maintaining this beloved Sonoma county institution.
