Rhythm Keepers & Global Griots invites audiences to experience the force of rhythm in music, dance and life. The performance will premiere work by guest artist Asiel Hardison and feature a unique collaboration with Home Tone Music and Arts Foundation under the musical direction of Lucius Bell. Rhythm Keepers & Global Griots will depict the migration of dance, music and song throughout the African Diaspora incorporating dance and rhythms from West Africa to the Carribbean, Swing to Hip Hop.
Concert Length: 1 hour Parking: Free parking is available across from the Logan Center on 60th & Drexel.
Gala Extend your support for Muntu by attending our Summer gala following the performance. This year's Honorary Gala Chair is Sonya Blakey, Inspiration 1390 Radio Personality.
Gala tickets include VIP seating for the concert, dinner and entertainment. Proceeds go to support Muntu's productions and community programs.
